Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Formerly known as Decoration Day, it originated after the American Civil War to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who died in the Civil War. By the 20th century Memorial Day had been extended to honor all Americans who have died while in the military service.

April Showers Bring May Flowers
The best part of spring is watching all the nature bloom. Everything seems so pretty after such a freezing white winter. {Brrr}
It's like instant motivation to plant flowers and work out to get that bikini bod.OK, maybe not the bikini bod part. That might take a little more motivation, like trying on a swim suit and looking in the mirror. {sigh} More like, instant depression.
